1. Check Your Timetable before sleeping
Make it a conscious effort to check your timetable a day before. This helps you organise yourself well enough to know when class starts, the subjects you have and prepare. You can pack up your school bag.
2. Make sure you have all assignments done
This is very key and important. You wouldn’t want to rush in the morning to get an assignment done.
3. Choose the clothes you will wear
This point might look less important but it is very necessary and key. Especially to our ladies, this will handle the “I don’t know what to wear” problem.
4. Sleep Early
As much as possible, sleep early, more especially if you have a morning lecture. Put away all your distractions and go to bed early. Turn the lights off if it’ll disturb your sleep.
5. Set Alarms
For some who can’t wake up to an alarm, try setting multiple alarms leading up to the time you will eventually wake up. Avoid hitting the snooze button often.
6.Develop a bedtime routine
Whereas this point might not work for everyone, having a bedtime routine helps. Your body will naturally adapt and know when it’s time for you to sleep. You could relax some minutes leading up to your bedtime.
On waking up, you can play motivational sermons or teachings or your favourite music while you get ready showering and preparing for class. Put yourself in the right frame of mind for lectures.
