Earlier this month the GUSSS hostel (Brunei) released its new prices for the 2018/2019 academic year which was an increase of nearly GHC 400. Students complained about the new prices and took to social media to make their opinions known.
The KNUST SRC, however, released a statement on its Facebook page stating a reduction in the room prices. The full statement is below.
The SRC is pleased to announce to all residents (prospective and current) of GUSSS hostels that after deliberation with stakeholders, a reduction has been met.
Students can now pay the revised fees for the GUSSS Hostels (Brunei and Hall 7).
Residential fees now stand at
